Alexandra Shipp has been a popular actress for many years. She was born in Phoenix Arizona in the United States on July 16, 1991. She was a guest in Victorious alongside Victoria Justice in 2012. Shipp made her debut in 2009 as a supporting actor in Alvin and the Chipmunks. She then went on as KT, the star of Nickelodeon's popular teen drama series House of Anubis' third season. Shipp was honored in 2014 for playing Dani Raymond and Aaliyah in Drumline: A New Beat on the VH1 television channel in addition to Aaliyah in Aaliyah: Princess of R&B, a show on Lifetime. Shipp was the singer as her final performance. Her next character she played was Ice Cube's partner, Kimberly Woodruff, in Straight Outta Compton. This biographical drama chronicled the career of N.W.A. In 2016 she co-starred in Bryan Singer's comic book movie X-Men: Apocalypse as Ororo Munroe/Storm who is a weather-controlling superhero who was previously played in the film by Halle Berry. In the year 2018, Nick Robinson starred along with Jorge Lendeborg Jr. as Love Simon, while Kathryn Prescott appeared alongside Lucy Hale and Nick Robinson. James is her twin brother.
